Kadiera's Playground Cute but Evil - it averages out

My mother is now my friend on facebook. It's really rather surreal when you think about it.

Took Alex to visit at the NICU today. People were ecstatic to see him, and his one primary nurse was so happy to hear that he was eating most everything by mouth (and not vomiting when he does so) that she nearly cried, and gave me the world's biggest hug.

For having the day off it was rather hectic, really. Lots of things got done though, which is good.

For all that I dislike interacting with strange people, I've done a ton of it the last few weeks. This is good, I guess. I am good at the public speaking thing, I just am not always comfortable with it. And I'm going to do it all over again this weekend, trying to drum up sign language class business at a mom2mom sale. Class opportunities keep falling into my lap.

It seems that our personal trainer will work out nicely. I never thought I'd be the kind of person who found late-night workouts to be an ideal situation, but Alex is usually asleep by the time "Jordan" gets here at 9:30, so that allows for the uninterrupted time we need.

It appears that we're going to end up going to my brother's wedding this winter. The amount of arrangements that need to be handled for Alex is astounding, but I think it is doable.

There are a variety of other things going on, some of which I am just not ready to talk about yet. I'm tired - and maybe that's the important part of it. I think I'm giving up now and going to bed.
