I was supposed to get a massage at 6 last night. I arrived at 5:45. It took them until almost 6:30 for all three people at the reception desk to figure out who I was, why I was there, and then decide that my massage therapist wasn't there and didn't know she had appointments today. In the meanwhile, I'd watched 45 minutes of chaos as they tried to figure out who was in the waiting room, and where the patients on their check-in list actually were (it's a physical therapy type office). They also ran out of treatment rooms, sent some patients to do their exercises *before* their treatments, and then those same patients came back to the waiting room, and still had to wait for rooms.

Needless to say, I cancelled, and will likely not take them up on their half price offer to re-schedule.

I'm really getting tired of spending holidays at the hospital.

If you cannot machine the parts correctly, how can you possibly expect them to go together correctly? The fact that these crappy parts assemble to those flat-out wrong parts at all is a miracle.

But at least I'm good enough to recognize that the parts are that badly out of spec on sight, and smart enough to accompany newbie tube engineers to the lab to tell them what they're actually looking at, even if the thing they want to look at is a non issue (the bad parts were on the same test block, and we only looked at them for illustrative purposes)
